Very nice! let me ask: stretched or non-stretched? Can't wait to see the progress. I like those rims you picked out too. Do you have a finish date set?

We're behind you dude Smiley. Wish you the best of luck. And remember...don't get overly "obsessive" and "compulsive".  Otherwise it's going to be a long build Grin

Thanks for all the support!!  Grin Ok sorry for not posting pictures yesterday but I had to do that whole Valentines thing with my girlfriend. To answer your questions it will be an non-stretched berlinetta, and I should have it form John in about a month. Well here's some stats on my donor car.

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Automatic

The Good:

-Clean California Rust/Accident Free Car With A Clean And Clear Title
-Working AC
-Runs And Drives Great
-Even Compression With No Major Oil Leaks
-4 Almost New Michelin Pilots (which I will use on my other Fiero that needs tires)
-Current Registration
-Car Only Cost $850.00

The Bad:
-157,000 Miles
-Needs Motor Mounts
-Paint Over Spray On The Motor From A Repaint

But all in all its a great driving clean car!! Here it is!!

DeLorean - I'm also planning to build a AD355 non-stretched berlinetta (someday, I hope Grin) so I'll be monitoring your build very closely. Good luck again.

Do Not cut the roof off. You can use the original roof to make a convertible. I can show you and it will cost less then $100.00

Don't worry he's not going to cut the roof off, he is building a non-stretch Berlinetta.

Well here is an update, Ron and I worked on my car yesterday.  It took us about three hours to get the Fiero body panels off and now it's ready for the AD body.  We pulled the headlights and interior also.  Shane and my AD bodies should be here Tuesday from John.  Shane is hoping to come to my place Thursday to get his car ready for the body also.  We will be working on both cars over the next few weeks trying to get them both ready for paint.

Before.
