More done, headed out now to get the parts I need to get my steering rack put back in (3 of the 4 bolts that hold it in broke off when I took it out, and easy outs don't work).
Before and after.
After reading hundreds of posts both here and on PFF I have never seen nor heard of anyone that has actually been able to remove their rack without breaking at least one bolt off. I am going to have to do it this winter and I don't look forward at all. PB Blaster over a period of a week or so probably won't help in a cold garage either. Ah well, another challenge awaits.

Steering rack is back in the car! I might have to cut down the outter tie rod end extentions that came with my widetrack, because I tightened them down all the way and both front tires point outward a bit. Anyone else with a held front widetrack had this issue with that??

I like to see progress. Finish up the front end and let have a motor mounting party.

There is a 2 inch (or so) tie rod extension that Held supplies with the kit.
Here is a photo from several years back that might help you.

Thanks Dave, that is the part I'm referring to. I installed those, tightened them/tie rods down all the way and both wheels still point outward a little in the front.

ot to be tightened all the way down. My thoughts are they might be on too far.

If I let them out it will push the front of the wheels out further making it worst. It seems to me the extensions are too long and need cut down. Or I could cut down the inner tie rods (probably a better plan). Basically right now the entire steering rack is a small as I can make it and the wheels are still pushed out in front.
I forgot to call held today to see what they suggest.

Are you using a wide track? The extension should be the same as the track increase. Did you use a Fiero rack?

Yes the widetrack is from Held Motorsports and the extentions came with the kit. I'm using the Fiero rack that came out of the car.
I just got off of the phone with Erik from Held. He bought the business recently and thinks I might have been shipped the wrong extensions. I will have to take the extensions off and measure them to see. He offered to take them back and correct them or I could cut down the inner tie rods.

Hey Sacto. May as well have them provide you the "correct" parts. That is called good customer service, which alot of vendors on here just don't understand!

I think that Erik will take good care of you. He is very knowledgable. I believe he used to be an engineer for ZF designing Porsche and Ferrari suspensions. He knows his stuff and is very friendly. I am confident he will help make it right, even if it wasn't his mistake.

Thanks Chris. I still have to attach the headlight cover to the top (note the blue tape holding it in place). I did make templates of the pieces that make up the bracket. We will see how the passenger side goes. If it all works out the templates could be available for distribution. I think I spent about 10 hours on this one headlight (or at least it feels that way). When they are all working I will tack on some tabs to the sides to install some plastic side trim to cover the sides.
