Thats because you built them. Well, actually I might have built them. Its hard to remember. So I guess that makes me lame as well.

I looked over the suspension again. I have a short set if you want them. In addition your tie rod ends look longer than those used on my car.(just thinking)

I noticed they looked a little longer then the ones in your picture too. I'm just going to cut them down but thanks for the offer Dave.

10 months since my last post. I just sold my 88 Fiero and bought a bunch of parts needed to get a big jump ahead on my car. Hopefully I'll get the engine back in her within the next few months.

Sacto;
I had a look back through your headlight arrangement for the Cavalier headlights and I like the way you have built the mounts. On my setup, I planned on having a 16 gauge plate I built a template for that bolts to the original plastic mounting plate. I was thinking about taking the headlight off and just using the adjusting parts and another plate originally but I was not sure what I was going to do about the pivot mount in the centre bottom. I never did look at the final product you built when you were going through this last year.
I really like the way you have solved it so simply.... I think I will go out and redo my template to be much simpler like yours so I don't have so much cutting to do. With the plastic mount, I am really strapped for space on the one side, as well as trying to figure out how to get bolts into the headlights bucket once everything is bonded together to mount the plate. With a lot of the template gone and the plastic piece out of the way, I should be able to get the headlight centred a bit better.
Great job on the mounts.
I can make a set of the fascias for you as well once I make the final Cav headlight fascias as well.
Cheers Don

Thanks, I hadn't figured out what exactly I was going to do for my surrounds until your posts. Shane was calling me a "Bracket Master" for some of the brackets I made for his car. I think master is a stretch.

Ron;
Can you email me some more pic of the mounts please? I would really appreciate it.
A few more angles etc. would be great.
Thanks Don

HAHAHA! I'm only gonna make a slight jump, i'm sure i'll run outta money before it's finished and be in another holding pattern. Here is what I ordered so far.
Gauges Seatbelts New alternator New dog bone Braided brake lines Sebring column New coil, cap, rotor, sparkplug wires EGR hose New clutch New engine heat shielding Craddle bushings New alternator backet Rebuilt injectors
Don,
I'll get some more pictures for you but they are already in the car. I wish I had a plasma cutter so I could have made the look better.
