Bullsh*t. place all my parts inside my car. Then I will post u have supplied them. And u better notsay u put them there and someone stole them. When I go pick them up. I Want those headlight rings and everything.

How much money did I give u ! 5800 not 4800. The math adds up. Place all my parts on my car. I don't have any stinking head light rings or trims or any of those parts. When they are in my possesion then I will say I have them.

Did I give you the steering column? Did I give you the seats? Did I give you the lights? did I give you the power window hardware? So on and so on? I gave you everything, and you said you didn't want it. You looked at the seats and told me you wanted "NEW" Fiero seats LOL! You didn't want the column, the lights, the hardware, etc, etc, etc! I gave you everything except the seat tops, which I told you I would give to you this week, and YOU SAID OK! You have ALL your parts, but decided now you dont want them. NOT MY PROBLEM. Take your parts, sell them, I DONT CARE. You dont want them? Fine, in the trash they go. Its your money.

Boy, that list is alot shorter than the one above! You will get EVERYTHING you paid for. What you choose to do with them is your business.
Doesn't it suck that you cant lock this thread?

Why are they at my house? Didn't I give them to you once already, the last time you played this game? What happened then? Why didn't you take them then? Why did you tell me you didn't want them? Who's the one who's playing games here? I searched this planet end over end, and cant find any NEW Fiero seats for you, I've been told they stopped making Fiero's back in '88, but they're probably FOS too, right? All your parts will be left with your car. Do with them whatever you like. Threaten me all you like (remember???). Dont confuse my kindness for weakness, you DONT own me. I have done everything I can to please you, to no avail. I've kept up with every deadline agreed upon, and you keep changing your mind. You have decided to stop this build, not my actions/work. You dont seem to know what you want, you definately cant make up your mind. One day on, the next day off. You tell me I have until the 4th, then you say STOP!, you've sold the car. Now you say you want EVERYTHING, even though that wasn't the agreement. I have no problem giving you what you paid for. Dont be a Dana and expect more than what you paid for, or anything for free. I have been more than fair with you, more than patient with your indecisiveness, and helped you FAR beyond what you have paid me for. My prices for things are well below what others charge, and more than fair. You are the one who came on this forum months ago and expected eveybody to work on your car for "shop rates". Remember? You had it all laid out,- how much the bodywork SHOULD cost (by your expert estimate), how much the mount SHOULD cost, how much the paint SHOULD cost, how much the interior SHOULD cost, and so on. One day you agree on a price, and 2 days later you say it too much. Remember what you told me about my price for a new front or rear bumper ($600) when you came to my house last? You told me $600 was to much because you could go into the dealership and buy a new bumper for your KIA for 100 bucks, so how can I charge 600? Your sense of costs are wacked, and based on experience and knowledge YOU DONT HAVE. Why dont you go into Lamborghini and tell them $7K is to much for a bumper because the one on your KIA is only $100! See what they say. You think $2200 for power windows is to much? Juan wants $3K, AND YOU HAVE TO SUPPLY THE GLASS! His look terrible at best, even HE SAYS SO! The cheapest place I've found that will even TRY to do it is $3500, NOT including glass! They can't even guarantee results, because they've never done them before. You really need to get a clue on things. I am so tired of being bullied by you. I've put up with it because I've understood your frustrations, but enough is enough. You dont have the patience for a build of this caliber. You expect everything to go exactly as planned, with no pitfalls. You told me that it should only take 1 day to wire you car in its entirety, even though not one wire exists in the car as it sits, other than your computer wiring. Like I said, your expectations are absurd, and based on notions, not experience. There are so many things you have lied to me, and my wife about, yet I've kept my mouth shut, and continue working. You're not fooling anybody. One day you say you make 80K a year doing nothing, and in the next breath you say your flat broke, and cant even afford new shoes. You live with your parents at their apartment, and say you spend your money as fast as you make it, but then tell me that money is never a problem, you have more than you need! I'm just really at my end with all your bullsh*t stories, bullsh*t requests, and bullsh*t lies. If you want to end your build and take your losses, do it, but accept that YOU have made this decission, and YOU have to live with the consequences of this decission, NOT ME. Dont blame others for your indecisiveness or lack of knowledge. You've chose to make your bed, so sleep in it. As of tomorrow I have lived up to my end of the deal, just as agreed to by you. Once again, you've changed your mind, and its now not good enough.

Hi,
after seeing the problems of MM with two of his customers, I want to give my humble opinion as a builder.
With my years of experience, I think both sides have made mistakes ( I have also made some, but since I work like I explain you at following, everything went well ).
1st. A handmade build like these, never takes the same time. One thing makes a job day, in another build, can lead 3. Solution, if the estimated construction time is 3 months, adding 50% to the contract, ie give the delivery time of 4 ½ months, so you can work in peace, if a problem occurs, you have time to fix it and normally deliver the car before the end date, so that the customer is always happy give it two weeks before, than only one day late .....
2nd. Before you start, the contract is written in all that the customer want, to the last detail, so nobody has to remember .... is written and is to be met by both parties. If something changes, add in the contract with the date of the change, costs, etc...
3rd. A car made of fiberglass, if you wish without waves, you have to put filler, high or low depends on the kit, but if you work with the finest materials and time to prepare correctly (Part 1 ...), contract must not break ever, at least we use ourselves, it is difficult to sand (it's our problem, not our customers), but never breaks ... for something costs 790 USD 4 gal.
4th. In the other case, a perfect job is not seen, ie they work the best we can from within, into parts that never see, and the iron of the sub-chassis is oxidized quickly, but only superficial. How can avoid this?, Protecting immediately after installation. If the car is not finished, you cant tell, " the builder dont do this or that....".
5th. Have confidence with your builder, the builder have confidence with the final payment of the customer be done. During the process may have complications or problems that frighten a client who does not know how it will work, but you have to have confidence in the outcome, for that we have a contract, and if in the end, or during the year guarantee, does anything is as we agreed, is in the contract and the builder is required to repair / rebuild, by hook or by law. Visit frequently your builder, and if something is not like you wish, tell him, maybe has a reason or can be changed...
Many times, other builders speak ill of the work being done by others, to try to take that job, do not be fooled and leave work to someone who has demonstrated his ability. And for the constructor, be honest and always working as if the car was for you, listen to your customer as if you are the customer, and never give personal excuses, is a job for money, not a hobby to help a friend, by a very good relationship with. Do not promise things with a fixed date if not 100% sure you can fulfill, because if you fail to your customer, lose their confidence.
ALLWAYS return back his calls / e-mails. The worst is dont know what is happening.
A good job, delivered on the date it is always a happy customer ... sometimes customers are difficult, when at first everything was cordial, if everything is clear and in writing before you start, problems will always be very few or none.
I think everybody has a part of reason, always a bad agreement is better than a good lawsuit, try to fix before getting angry, perhaps it is easier to solve than it seems...
With my best wishes for all in this new year.
I hope you can understand my poor english.... Tongue
