    murcielago interior upholestry BUILD

    hi
this is my first replica build and i am having hard time doing the interior especially door panels upholstery
so can someone help on how to cover the door panels with leather or vinyl and how to hook the parts together
    any help will be appreciated

and also if someone has complete door panels upholstered already , i might buy them if the price is right

    thanks in advance

    Looks great.
What machine did you buy at Walmart?

Do you know about the 'masking tape' template for doing the interior pieces?

Brother SQ9000. I don't know anything about them really, just bought the best that 'they' had
No, I don't know about the making tape trick. Is there a link to a site that explains it? Thanks!

It was first introduced by switta.
The masking tape templete method is brilliant and works awesome.
Let's say we are doing the hardest part, the dash panel.
Cover the entire piece with masking tape going left to right. Cover it completely.
Now cover it completely going top to bottom. This will give you coverage in a criss-cross pattern.
Draw the stitch lines on the tape with a 'sharpie' and draw alignment points in several places. Alignment points are 90 deg to the stitch line so that you can see how the sewing together.
Use a razor blade to cut the stitch line.
Remove the section of masking tape and stick it to the material
Cut the material with a 1/2" border all the way around the masking tape.
There you go, you have a perfect pattern with alignment sections.
