    A Little Project I am Working On BUILD

    Hey Everyone,

    Picked up a little vw kit car project a week or so ago and I figured I would share it with you. Its a little unclear on what it is. It might be a Lithia GT. Its on a 69 pan with a sp 1600 motor. I am going to start sanding it this week and hope to have the body painted by next week. The motor is said to run, but have no tried to start it yet. I have been going back and forth on doing a rotary conversion but not sure about that yet.

    Slipondajimmy;

    It should be a good project for you. That car looks a LOT like the Bradley GT with a slightly different back section. Did the doors come as full plexiglas? If they did then my bet is on the Bradley GT. Maybe do a web search for the Bradley and have a look.

    Keep us updated on the progress as it will look great when done I am sure.

    Cheers

    Hey Don,

    If you look again my project has an entirely different front end than a bradley. If you recall the bradley GT had them horrible flip down headlights.

    The rear of my car is just like a bradley. I have heard a few stories about what it could be but who knows. I like it.

    looks like a bradley gt to me as well but with a reworked front nose section windscreen forward, nose is very familiar, I perhaps a vokaro or derivative .

    It looks like a part bradley part kelmark GT merged into one. :

    These bradleys have been showing up supercheap lately. I've considered grabbing one myself and doing a budget build to pick on hondas.

    I bought this one because it was solid and cheap. I am also a fan of the old vw based kit cars. I have gone back and fourth on doing a rotary build for it, but still not sure. It can get pretty expensive to do the conversion

    I was going to start sanding the body last night but my employee decided to lock up our compressor in the only room I do not have a key for at the track.

    Lets try this again today.
