Thread: Bentley GTC build

  1. #1

    Sebring GTC build

Week 1 - I dismantled the donor car, took off fenders, hood, trunk, bumpers, windows. I welded my 8 1/2" angle iron for the front and all metal in place on the doors. I also cut out the rear tail section and rear wheel wells to make them larger and made brackets to extend my door hinges 1 1/2" inches.

I didn't see what Matt did on his headlight brackets but I would think a flat shelf supported by square tubing and mount them by using the bottom mounts. Many of the Bentley headlights get there upper tabs broken due to vibration. If you mount them from the bottom you shouldn’t have that issue.

Did you swap the L & R upper A arms yet? I would like to see photos of the process if you don't mind.
