    Rob's Fiero interior conversion

After building interiors for other people's cars this past 3 years I will finally be able to build my own for my dusty blue spider sitting in the garage. I thought I would start this thread to record my progress and to provide a reference to those who haven't yet installed their interior.

    Here is my car:

    Rob,

Kinda sounds like my progress!! My 87 still sits outside with the original Fiero body stripped off waiting for my Mirage body to go on. Maybe in another 4 years that will happen . . . Or not!

I picked up these seats on clearance which is a beige tan which is not exacty the color that I'd like, but that's what I have, so I'll probably do a black/beige combo.

Pete: Never got your message, but that's great about the Mirage. I took alot of pics of it when I saw it at the Knotts show a few years back.
    Robert: I'm in Seattle. FieroInteriors@Juno.com

Started fabricating the urethane & acrylic components for the instrument panel. I'm actually fabricating parts for two dashes right now; saves time in the long run.

Your seats look fine, but you may be interested to know a lot of Ferrari guys are replacing their original leather seats with OMP and MOMO racing seats. They're more comfortable on the track and and look cool too. You can find them for only a couple hundred each. Or you might find a Ferrari owner foolish enough to sell you his original seats cheap. If you get the racing seats, get OMP or MOMO six point harnesses to match. Very cool!

JC Whitney has leather recliners for $300 ea.

Fabricated more urethane panels. Pressurized & heat cured. I'm not looking forward to doing the fiberglass part coming ahead.
