    Brastic AD355 build thread

Here is my AD355 build thread

    Specs:
    1988 Fiero GT
    V6, 5sp
    Non stretch
    AD355 coupe body
    12" C4 brakes
Mr Mikes leather seats with seat warmers
    Spider Interior

Build Manual I wrote for myself:
    http://brastic.com/fiero/index.html

Goal: To build a fun car. I have nothing to prove nor do I have a statement to make. All I want to do is build and drive a cool car.

Good to know: I am building this car for me and only me. I am going for a 95% correct build. To save time and money, I am not stretching the chassis nor extending the windshield. Before anyone responds to why I should have stretched the chassis, please note that I am not a mechanic nor rich. I have very limited skills and tools. What I do have is a desire to finish the build.

The stock 1988 Fiero GT. Worked over with 180k miles, dead engine, worn out brakes and questionable suspension.

The carcass. First we had to remove the body panels.

PS. Thanks Chris for the help.

    The Cuts:

The two big cuts are in the front to make room for the Saturn lights and the B-pillar.

Ahhh the joys of a saws-all...

    Re: Brastic AD355 build thread

Since I have an 88, I used the 12" C4 break upgrade from West Coast Fiero. Not bad for less than $400.

    Glueing down the rear clip:

This was fun because the car started to look like a 355.

After some time aligning the body panels. I mean a lot of time and bracket making.

I did not like the look of the key hole, so I am using door poppers.
