    MunkyKings DNA Build progress

Here we go.. Due to terrible weather conditions for the past several months the first DNA kit in the US has had a slow start. But since the weather has changed for the better Munky and I were able to get things started. It took a while just to organize all the parts for the kit and check everything out. There are a lot of neat parts that come with the kit that Kester was not expecting and will make the build as smooth as possible..

I dont have a picture of the Toyota stripped down to the point we achived, but there is only one rear quarter to remove. Next weekend we should get a lot of the suspension pieces installed and maybe think about cutting the door panels down.

The Toyota was such a beautifull car to be tearing to pieces and I think Munkys neighbor might think we were kinda off our rockers tearing the entire body off of the car..

I am excited to be working on this car with Kester and cant believe I will be helping build a DNA 360 in the US..

Here are a few pictures of the project..

Thanks Mr Ferrari - both for your help and for the thread! One day I will work out how to run these infernal Comp-U-Ters...

This is a link to another DNA 360 build. It looks fantastic (even in the pink version that lasted for a few days...) and the seats while not 100% replicas look AMAZING!!!!

Something for us to aspire to hey Mr Ferrari!

Well the old exhaust is out (with the help of a little lubrication.... That's the rubber hangers not me (though I did enjoy a good cuppa part way through). The DNA exhaust is all lined up. Just need to do a little bit of trimming at the ends of the rear bumper bars and it will be all mounted on.
Can't believe how easy or fun this kit is. Even a talentless Englishman can do it!
