    My custom, Camaro stretched, concept.

This concept of mine would mean stretching the Camaro ~10inches (with all its difficulty), adding a bolt over shell body, 3 inch spacers, and a new roof with T-Tops.

With enough money I would relocate the engine to the back in the future.

What do you guys think? No windshield modifications and the body shape turned out like the Italia.

Some technical talk on the donor and a mid engine setup

note: the rear end was heavily shortened, I'll need to work out the details of that on the donor later.

    Stretch

    Is it Youtube blocked?
No relocation is required, you'd just have a lot of empty room back there.

I also posted it on a busy forum for design feedback

decent concept but what a dream i tell ya!

this thing will get off the ground in the year 2030 aproximately.

stretch a camaro? WHY? how looooong is this thing going to be? chopped camaro yes, stretched is rediculous.

next, why or rather HOW are you going to put the engine in the rear? that is a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot of EXPENSIVE work.

I am guessing you do not have much money for this. make it as cheap and nice as possible, if it ever will be made.

I found a cheap alternative which would bring this design closer to reality. I dont think I'll be able to chop the roof off for safety concerns, but it will still look nice as a sedan.
Relocating for a mid engine for such a long and wide car, when money permits, would make it interesting.

P.S. to Ronin, the A pillar looks closer to a Lambo then the Camaro does.

    Thanks

I found forum chat about making the donor convertible, I wonder if I can still legally do it if it has safety concerns.

edit - made some Sebring overlays

edit - did some work on the Sebring.... the Intrepid with a cut roof would be best
