    air ride/ hijackers...??

    Hi guys
I have the following problem - my driveway is pretty steep and in such an angle that the front bumper would hit the ground if I would try to drive up... So I was wondering if it is possible to have an air ride on the front axle that would bring it up...4 inches should do it. Someone also mentioned a "hijacker"??? Any ideas or suggestions??? And pleeasz...no "couple of thousand bucks" solution.... ;-)

    Thx!

    Is your car Fiero based?

It's not cheap; but with that information, an understanding of how and why it works, some fabrication skills, and a little seraching on e-bay you could probably do it for less.

    Hi
No, it's actually a Toyota MR2. Someone told me a "hijacker" would be way cheaper and would do the trick...?? No idea....

Hyjackers are normally rear shocks. They are made for heavy load applications and have a 20 psi preload when installed t protect the air bag. Getting a regular air spring setup to replace your front springs may be the way to go. TF
