Oh my, oh my! California here I come!

everyone! I just watched a test drive of the Ferrari California on youtube, and its absolutely amazing.
not only is it a front engine car. but its a V8! 453 hp to be exact.
In my eyes, this is first on my wishlist.
Its a stunning car! are there any rumors of this?
This would be perfect for a corvette, around the same horses. most likely close to the same 0-60 time.
The only challenge i see, is the hardtop folding roof and interior.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQxCfS9cxsw watch this 6 minute vid on youtube and tell me what you think.

Enzo Shmenzo, I'm moving to California.

Sorry I have to say that the new California is closer to a "chick ferrari" then to something I would choose over a F430. It is to tamed down....a F-car hardtop conv?? Also price is way too high IMO considering the other options.

yea thats true, i see what your saying. it may be a chick car, but its a little bit more original. the f430 is nice, but the california is closer to a donor car because it is tamed down. it would be a little harder to make a replica that handles and performs like an f430. and the california is so close to other cars. like the corvette and others.

Well its not a chick car compared to most cars...just compared to a F430. Also the conv hardtop will be impossible to do right...I have a SL600 and I cant imagine someone being able to build something like that for a kit. The F430 is already being rep'd so I would stick with that and save up for a gen Calif.

i think the california is a fantastic looking car,but the roof must be a big no no,hydrolic metal roof, thats gona cost mega bucks.the answer is simple, the better looking car is the 599,someone should replicate that, using the supra 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

a supra? a later model or earlier? if a later, good luck. i know my way around a tuner and those are not only expensive, but also hard to find.
