    How long would this last.

    The guy in the following pictures, uses some type of expandable foam, just wondering how plausible this would be.

    Try not to pay attention to the hideous design, just the procedure.

    It depends on the heat aswell foam will expand and shrink. PU foam is easy to work with but unless he did that then took moulds off maybe? or coated it

    It's called "COMPOSITE" building or glassing. That is how most commercial airplanes are built today. Very strong and resists a lot. I am sure this guy knew what he was doing and used the propper materials. He could shrink or melt the foam inside with anything abrasive like gasoline, but that would defeat the purpose in this case, since the foam left inside is what gives it structural strength and body.
