    Hummer (1 or 2)

I know this is a little off topic for most of you exotic kit builders, but has anyone seen any sights of anyone building a HUMMER kit or from scratch? I have a 87 Silverado Suburban with a 350 in it and thought it would be perfect for a HUMMER kit.
    Thanks

There is a guy making Hummers up near me (Ontario Canada)...I've seen pics and it's nice...Truck panals are straight as an arrow. I'll have to ask him if he is going to put a website together.

There is a guy in Kitchener that builds Hummer replicas. He has been in the business for quite a while now, and he does good work.

Quite possibly the best replication of a hummer that I have ever seen is built in Alberta. You can build it from scratch depending on your skill level and access to a shop and equipment, Or they will build you a tub(body) to install on your chassis. His kit was so bang-on, Global News did a real nice story on his build. I will ask the owner if I can post his pictures on this forum.

Here is a guy that had one for sale recently on Kitcars.com, you might want to contact him for questions regarding similar kits, parts etc. http://www.kitcars.com/Classifieds/A...sified_id=1756

I rode in this guys truck yesterday. I'm building one right now in my garage. $25,000 Canadian ($15,500 USD) complete and I'm going top of the line!
