    Ferrari 550

Not sure what the reserve would be on something like this, but there's a wrecked 550 Maranello on ebay motors. If you get it cheap enough, you could at least get an engine, spare parts, seats, interior etc.

Just thought i would throw it out there.

Its not worth it. I guess i'm a certified Ferrari basher but with that kind of money I could get an LSX, 2JZ or even a Viper engine, buy the spare interior parts and still have some spare change to go out and maybe build a chassis that would mop the floor with a real Ferrari 550, even without the body. ;D

    ;D Yep..

Also, a nice and clean real 550 can be bought for under $50k if you shop around these days..

Here are a few in the $50k range, spring is here and the $40k ones are gone..

Eh, the auction is over anyway. It started around $2000, and i saw there was a reserve. I figured that, if anything, it could be bought and used for parts for a Ferrari build. Genuine seats, tail lights, switches etc. If it was bought cheap enough... maybe. Still, the reserve wasn't even tripped at about $19K. Certainly not worth it in that case. ;D

Thats not bad at all. Especially if the service has been kept up well. I have also seen some 355's going for mid 20's now these days. Ferrari's aren't worth it anymore its better to build one than to buy one in my opinion.

I think the 550 as a kit with a 430 interior would be one sexy car inside and out
