newbie need help regarding murci kit

    hello to all
i am very new here, first of all sorry about my broken english.
i just purchased a murci kit and would like to use old vw beetle as a donor (something like they do for 911 replica), is it possible?

the reason i wanna do it this way is because in my country there is no mr2 neither fiero. the only option is to use old beetle as the donor car.

please guys i need your help and information.

    cheers
    halim

This is easy.... build a tube chassis and source the parts needed even if you have to have it shipped in. VW, really, sounds like a bad joke HA! HA! HA!

Don't go with a VW chassis cause you'll end up spending so much money and effort trying to make it all work that your better of just building a Tube chassis for it instead.

Is there a welding shop or metal company out in your location? If so start checking there.

A welding shop is NOT going to be of any help to building a chassis......They do NOT know anything about building the correct frame (chassis) for a car....They only know how to weld pieces of metal together!
You have to look for a race-car shop or someone who has build a car chassis before who's willing to help you out....Most likely (in your country) this project will not be cheap to build the correct chassis. Do your research and look around of their work before you decide to spend good money on building the correct frame/chassis. This process is very time consuming and requires special skills. Beware of scammers!

    Best of luck..
