Extreme Newbie Question, lambo kits for mr2 with NO STRETCH???

Hello everyone, i have been lurking for quite some time, and i finally decided to give my self the green light and begin planning for the creation of my dream car

i would like a lambo kit... but.. a mini one... if that makes sense. i Love the size of the toyota mr2 and i was wondering if there was a kit available to give a strong nod towards the murci design without requiring me to stretch the chassis... is this a possibility? or is it something that i will have to find someone to custom make for me

    to further go into detail..

"in my dreams" i imagined a fiberglass body that i could "drop" onto the chassis and then i could custom make the interior to my own specifications.

I'm afraid the lambo kit is the most difficult kit to build, by a long shot. The closest thing to a 'drop on' lambo kit that I know of is the PISA Artero:

It's intended to look like a Diablo, not a Murci though, and it's on a Fiero donor.

If you want an easier build, Dave Jones 360/430, or the DNA 430/360 are your best bet.

The kit offered by PISA is actually a Jalapa replica. :

I think I'm the only one who notices this.

If you want to use an MR2 on a non stretched wheel base you might wanna consider a non stretched Countach replica based on a Fiero or MR2 chassis.

I haven't seen any non-stretched Murcielago's hit the market other than the Murcy kits offered by carkitinc and even then they do requre lengthing the chassis although it looks like it uses the stock wheel base.

You might wanna also consider extreme's murcielago, you have the MR2 donor, you want a Murcielago why not building an acturate replica?.

you know i have to say, that is a cool body kit. far cry form looking like a diablo. but its kind of cool how they shortened it all. but i think i would lose the countach style spoiler. now i think that would be a good kit for a first timer.

Jalpa and the artero is more based off the Diablo or Diablo inspired here's a cool link to see how easy the artero fits the fiero.
