    f430 mirrors Enzo Design

ive had a lot of questions recently for updated pictures on our kit parts
some of you will know we totally redesigned it last year, our original car was made deliberately to demonstrate the fact we created the whole car in cad and made it fit the MR2 back to Toyota's mounting points, we got a lot of pointed comments about how it looked wrong, but we never set out to copy original panels and then chop them to fit, that was not the point of what we did.
however after relativly good sales of the "shortnose" kit we started to evolve our process and turn from grp to plastic manufacture more and more, making a very accurate interior with correct working airbags so we then totally remade the outer body to take advantage of the new plastic techonlogy and tooling we have and now have possibly the most over engineered kit in the world at some 700 pieces!
anyways lots of people wanting to see specific items weve about caught up with our backlog from the redevelopment and with me being away for 6 weeks working for McLaren ive now got a bit of time to take some pictures and upload them

heres the mirrors straight from the moulds, you can see the injection port
and also the mirror mounts which have the original mounts and even the screw threads in them and our modification of the longer metal bar out the bottom to allow them to be fitted to the top of the MR2 window channel using the top 10mm bolt through both.

So does that mean you got rid of the "short" version?

    pretty much so
we still have the moulds for it and ive got 4 headlamp pods left as spares for the cars that are made and out there so we could supply one but the new kit is far more accurate and we have things like proper brake kits, ie we have 325 or 350mm front discs and 309mm rear discs that are at the wheel, on the back weve made all new drive flanges in hardened steel, on the front a clever sandwich plate onto the original toyota flange whcih adds only 9mm to its outward thickness and then an all new aluminium cnc billet lower wishbone for the wider track, means we have no ackerman angle issues from over wide spacers.
