    Re: New carkitinc kit

I've built a lot of cobras. This one is interesting. C4 is 96.2 inch wheelbase and the cobra is 90. The one in their pics doesn't look that long so either they have done a pretty good job pulling it off OR it is typical Carkitinc and those are not pictures of the car. Just like they say their DEELOW is a DNR (D&R) copy and it is not.

Those pics are of a Superformance Cobra. They didn't bother to remove the decal on the windshield.

Yeah another set of stolen photos. Dummies even left the same image name. A search reveals the same image name here http://www.secondchancegarage.com/pu...ra-rep-dsf.cfm

    Nothing to see here guys

If you read their site and the description closely, it reads:

NOTE: THE PHOTOS LISTED ON THIS WEBSITE ARE OF OTHER 1967 COBRA REPLICA KITS COMPLETED THAT ALSO HAVE THE BIG-BLOCK HOOD 4 RISE ON THEM JUST LIKE YOUR CO2 COBRA KIT WILL HAVE. YOUR CO2 COBRA BODY-KIT WILL LOOK JUST LIKE THE PHOTOS LISTED ON THIS SITE HOWEVER YOU WILL ONLY HAVE LESS THAN $10,000.00 IN YOUR COMPLTED CAR WHEREAS THE KIT CARS LISTED HERE COST WELL OVER $25,000.00 TO COMPLETE.

That's pretty cheesy to not even show pics of their own product. :

Agreed. I would like to see a finished car - could really be a great product if it lives up to the hype. If it looks anything like the F-Body Murcielago, then it's not even worth discussing.

Real or not, if it's going to cost 10,000 to finish, I think I'd rather save an extra 5000 and get a ffr kit

Yeah pretty much thats the way to go.

I can see the C4 becoming a more popluar donor car since there's plenty of C4's around especially the pre LT1 models with the L98 motors them. You can find one of those now adays for like 4 grand.
