Marauder Countach - Haven't Seen Very Many Of These!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Count...item43a762bd47

Marauder used to make some really cool kits, but they disappeared off the scene quite a few years ago, I think. I have never seen a good picture of their Countach model until this listing on eBay.

Does anyone know much about the company, its history or what became of them? What about their kits - were they any good?

I remember the ads they used to run in the various kit car magazines. They had several models to choose from, including some very impressive race car kits (similar to RCR). I loved the looks of their McLaren M6 model.

Wow, that looks like a steal!!!
I love what they did with the wheel arches too!!

SO much better than the rectangular ones that look like somebody went "Oh, yeah, we need wheels too! Uh, let's just stick them somewhere around here and leave lots of room around the wheel in case we are off a little."

If I were a Countach fan and wanted a kit, I'd be all over this one!

The guy selling is a friend of mine.....it will be a good deal for someone

Marauder had some great bodies but some of chassis let something to be desired as a sports car.. ... ...VW beam axle front ends etc etc ...a far cry from what customers demand nowdays..

I woke up thinking about this kit this morning....LOL! I remembered they used to call it the Marauder Mark X, if I remember correctly. I don't think they ever actually called it a Countach.

I think it looks great, even though you can tell it's not a very accurate replica. It definitely wasn't splashed from a real one.

Maruader used to have a Corvette GTP replica that was pretty sweet, if I remember correctly. Also, a Nissan racer that was very nice.
