Need ideas how to cover A-pillar on my Diablo.

Without removing the windshield that is. This is one spot that looks very poorly executed comparing to the rest of the interior as it has been just sprayed with some sort of coating, has some rough texture like undercarriage or wheel well coating.
I considered vinyl wrap that has adhesive already on the back side, but with the windshield on it seems very difficult to sand it smooth enough for the vinyl to stick

I would just sand and repaint with a better product

Cliffscustoms i believe has fiberglass pillar pieces for diablo...ask him. I saw it on ebay. He might sell individual pieces. Look on ebay motors -lamborghini replicas

These pillars should have covers that are removable. If you can not find any screws that hold them on, they might be attached with snap-on fittings or some form of Velcro.
I do not know of any kits that make them part of the base structure.
After you take them off, you can finish them any way you want.

In looking at the picture it appears that some body work has been done or it already has a cover installed and was finished with some sort of wrinkle paint. Does the area from the rear of the car over the doors to the A-pillar have the same finish. If you remover the door seal does it show an A-pillar cover or is the area under the door seal have the same finish? If it does not show a cover I would suggest as the prior post suggested sanding, covering or painting. Check these before you invest in a set of covers. I purchased a set of covers an spent about a week modifying them to fit, so beware of the effort involved. Good luck.

Looks like truck bed coating straight from duplicolor.

Good luck getting that out if it is. It's very durable and rough.

Thanks for all the suggestions, forgot to mention my car is a roadster so coupe covers won't work for it. Does anybody have a picture of this part from a NAERC roadster kit.

naerc never supplied such a part. On my red roadster the pillar was covered with dense foam by the interior guys then covered with headliner material.
I would just try the 1/4" foam backed headliner material. Brush on the glue and test it. You can always double up the layers to give it a thicker and smoother look.

I'm following this thread with interest. My G28 has paint over rough sanding marks so I'll have to do something too.
