    Fiero tranny I.D.

Does anyone know how to tell what tranny I have? Is there some sort of vin decoding technique? I'm basically trying to find out if I have a 4T60 TH440 or a 4T60E... I'm trying to get a paddle shifter but I was told it wil only work if it's a 4T60E.

there is usually a tag on side of trans, My 4T60e has "4t60E" embossed into the pan, but are you not going to run the 4t65e with the series II 3800?
