    I have a very nice 89 convertible.

I put carbon fiber laminant inside
and did the Euro- 2 Amber 2 red tail light
customization. Had to rewire the whole
tail end and tap off of the front lights to
    make it California Legal.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has seen
a C5-R rebody? The one with the GT hood.

I love GT Hoods I guess...and rear wings.

The hood and lights look like a Ferrari 550 inspiration and the sides like a 57 - 62 Vette. The car looks nice. Wonder how pricy it is?

Hmmm... I suppose that one could bolt on C5-R panels if they felt the need to. The coef of drag is very low on the C5 (lowest on the coupe-ie the C5-R being based on the coupe), adding the wide body allows for wider rubber, but then what you made up in handling (if anything) you would lose in top end speed...

    don't you think?

I learned a technique in art and design years and years ago... when you think it needs more, stop. IMO I think the C5 already has very clean, stunning lines as is. My 2cents.

    Alex:

I recently test-drove a new Corvette. Wow, I was impressed. It was easy to drive, a little bit too quiet and very well appointed.

I really would like to own one. However, I am a kit car guy, so I will stay with the 355 Spyder.
