Thread: Can I use the NAERC Chassis Build for an Aventador?

  1. #11
    Hi 76mx,

    Hope you're well!!!

Looks like your doing a good job of the merci project!

I think I will be fine if I adjust the chassis to fit...

I have started clearing out the new garage and hopefully will be building my chassis from wood from next week.

If I build from wood first then I will be able to stretch or change the chassis to fit the aventador much easier then once I have 100% completed the wooden chassis to fit I can manufacture and weld the metal one.

If only kit cars were so simple haha!!!

    76 mx,

Im just looking at the specs now and splitting down the designs of the merci and aventador into 4 sections to see where the differences are.

Going to try and split them into these sections?

    Front end

    Cockpit to fire wall

    Back end

    Wheel Base dimensions

Hopefully I can work out rough differences

    Tom

My bad, I thought the Merci and the Aventador were the same wheelbase. This is what happens when I talk about something besides a Countach. Check your PM.

hi Carterbass, Stethy Norway/Steiner seems to be making excellent progress, but there is no time frame mentioned, but as it looks like he has completed his wooden Naerc frame, he cant be to far away from piecing the body/chassis together.

Wonder if FFR sells separate GTM chassis setups, or RCR SLC? They'd have supercar performance. I'd think talented design guys like Matt (vaydor) could do something really cool with them.

Hi, its almost a pain in the ass to find help regarding the Aventador chassis. It seems the guy in Bulgaria is the only one but his pricing is now beyond my pocket for the plans. How far did you get with the chassis plans?

Way to yank a thread that has been long dead.

PM the guy instead. You stand a better chance at getting a response.
