    Re:HOMEMADE WIDATRACK SUSPENSION

I WANTED PLUS 2" PER SIDE WITH FACTORY GEOMETRY, NOT EXTENDED A-ARMS, AS YOU CAN SEE I SPLIT THE CROSSMEMBER DOWN THE MIDDLE AND ADDED 4" IN THE CENTER, THEN I MOVED THE BODY MOUNTING TABS BACK AND STEERING RACK MOUNTING TABS BACK INTO THEIR ORIGINAL POSITION USING A HOMEMADE JIG, I ALSO MADE A NEW NOTCH FOR THE STEERING RACK, THIS EFFECTIVELY MOVED THE A-ARM MOUNTS 2" OUT PER SIDE ALONG WITH THE UPPER COIL MOUNT/ BUMP STOP, THE SHOCK ACTUALLY NEEDS NO MODIFICATION TO RUN AT MORE OF AN ANGLE AND MOUNT 2' FARTHER OUT, FINALLY I EXTENDED TIE RODS USING RODNEYS 88 TIE RODS WHICH ARE IDENTICAL BUT ALMOST 2" LONGER, LASTLY i ADDED TABS TO THE REAR A-ARM MOUNTS ON THE BODY OF THE CAR TO BRING THEM OUT 2" AND PRESTO +4" WIDETRACK SUSPENSION WITH FACTORY PARTS AND GEOMETRY! NOW IF ANYONE CAN RECOMMEND A SWAY BAR THAT IS IDENTICAL TO A STOCKER BUT WITH ENDS THAT ARE 2" LONGER THAN i AM DONE

    Re:HOMEMADE WIDATRACK SUSPENSION

is that the driver side inner tie-rod?
how in the hell did you get that off. i've been trying to get mine off but i'm having no luck. on the back side of the tie-rod it looks like it has been hammered on cause there is a notch (flat) side on the rack and inner tie-rod that looks like it won't unscrew. i've included a pic of mine and in the yellow box is what i'm talking about.

    thanks,
    toms...
