    Question for everyone....

As you probably already know, I have a site which has been documenting my IFG cloned F355 spyder build up. Well I am just about to start an AD 355 spyder (well once the kit is ready). Anyway, my question to all of you is... What do you like or dislike about my current site? To many words, not enough words, you would like to see more photos, you hate the colors...whatever.. I am looking for honest feedback so the next time I can make it even better. I am going to leave it on the same site so I am limited as to what can and can not be done but here is your chance to say your piece...

    thanks

Hey Glen. Good tech site. I actually found your site prior to finding this site, so I've been visiting a while. The only thing I would change is the size of the pics. You could use the small pics, but they should link to larger versions. Explanations are good, but pictures are worth a thousand words.

    Good luck with the AD.

    Hi Glen

I'm with Bob on his suggestion on the photos...They are a bit small and dark (probably because of low resolution)...I would have liked to see more detail in some of the photos, so it's good to be able to click on a photo to enlarge it.

The text and descriptions are nice and easy to follow....Again more photos would be nice to have but the built diary is well designed.

    Glenn:

I like groupings of photos and specific content on one page for each topic, i.e. Interior, Engine, Body, etc. Click on a thumb nail photo to get the full size one to view. I am not sure if you can do the same with the text, that would be cool. No band width hogging graphics. I am on a dial up as many of us might be and it takes forever to load some sites. I think it would be nice to have a contact button displaying on each page too.

    Dave and the others also,
I have contacted angelfire who is the host for the site to see if it is possible to have thumbnails or lower res. photos and then click on the photo to enlarge it. I personally think that is a great idea but just not sure if it can be done on this site or not at this time...

    duane,
I am not sure if it will work on your site or not, but here is the CGI code for the counter

    Re:Question for everyone....

Hey, I like being able to see smaller pics, like 100x100 and if you are interested in looking at it in detail, then the user can click on the pic to open it up.
On my site i did this with a window.open javascript. I took out the menu bar and all the extra crap, I like it. I need to find a better menu system that doesn't take forever to download.

But I like seeing lots of pictures, but loading 1000x1000 size pics is going to kill the user.
