There are a few of the McBurnie cars still around. *Here is one from our local kit car club in Tampa.

Nice pics Dave! I used a large amount of SS on a Jeep I built a while back. Dash, floor, interior walls. It is incredibly strong,
My break didn't want to bend it, it was .062. I started out polishing the finished peices on my polisher 10". Without any luck.
I wet sanded with 220 and then 320, tried repolishing. Still could see the swirls. I finally sent it out to a polishing shop and got it back with a mirror finish. I took pics with a cheap camera and learned not to use them. the pics didn't turn out > I'm using
SS in the engine compartment on the 355 and will end up sending it out to get the perfect finish.

    David:

It sounds like I need make the parts then send them out to have them polished. That sounds like what I thought I might have to do. I think it will make the car, especially when looking through the rear Challenge screen into the engine compartment. Maybe a neon light for noght time as well placed on the fire wall between the engine and cockpit. I need to think this trough a little more. I made some of the panels out of poster board. Maybe I can get a metal fab shop to bend the metal for me.

Yeah, that's going to be the ticket with the SS. Its so strong that its hard to work with but worth the extra. It'll set off your car
very nice. can't wait to see it with some color. Hurry Bondo Bob! ;D Neon would be a nice touch too. it'll make your engine glow.
Are you just going to use some straight neon tube and fab some surrounds? A good friend of mine owns a neon sign shop, its amazing what can be done in neon. His mailbox is fabbed out of alum with double stroke neon going up the side. its awesome!!
If you need any help let me know I'd be glad to do what I can.
