    Re:Lambo Rear End Bumper fun

Rear bumper is separate from body
so if ever there is a rear ending, the
    bumper will move independently from
the body and push up against these bumper
shocks. They are real bumper shocks and
as you can see can be replaced because they
    are bolted in.

I also have the front bumper separate from
the body too for same reason. Only the bumper
will need to be fixed. But if someone hits that
moose guard of mine in the front they will pay
dearly. I may end up with broken fiberglass bumper
but they other guy is going to have a steel plow up
    his butt.

Bumper is not in final spot but you get the idea...
I think I will lower the body a few inches too...

looks good ...I have seen a couple roadsters that needed notched a bit and welded back up on the strut towers to be lowered enough in the rear ... not sure if you have done that or not?? might help get the look you want ..john

It is easy for me to adjust the body height.
    So no problem.

That looks great, you will probably have one of the widest Diablos around. Good work with the foam too. BTW, don't use the threaded body of the shock to adjust your body height, if the body is too high you need to relocate the upper mount location. A shock should sit at 1/3 of it's total travel normally, when you adjust the spring you are really just reducing the spring rate, this destroys your wheel travel and makes the car handle poorly.

Wooo... I did not know anything about this...
    What exactly do you mean?
If say, I pulled out the shock poll all the way and
pushed it back in 2/3 of the way and have only
1/3 out, is that way you mean?

I will measure it today after work...
Could be a bummer if it turns out I have to
    to the shock tower thing.
