    Eye candy (murci guide preview)

Well i've decided to give you guys an update on the murci
scratch build guide now that the exterior 3d is 100% done.

It's quite accurate, i used about 60 reference images, along
    with officially approved blueprints.

The guide should be available at Knotts if nothing goes
wrong (and after a year and a half of work on this, 1300
hours, and 9 completely re-done versions, i'm trying my best
    to hurry up...)
    Enjoy.

PS: abysmal amount of work that would take a couple
weeks if i did it again now.

    latest rendering test

glass testing, obviously it was flawed. also, the V12 engine.

rear directly from program (visual glitches are just because it's not rendered)

front directly from program (visual glitches are just because it's not rendered)

wheel closeup. complete with "bimbo" brakes (copyright issue) and Pirrelli tires (again <c> issue)
rims were drawn from blueprints and visual reference.

the rim pic is the wrong one, this one has the misaligned nuts
and bolts (oh no!!) around the edge of the rim.

at least it gets the point across :P

really nice job on the 3d drawings! what are your intentions to do with it once it is completed?

hah something went wrong when Biwbo was made :P
cant sue me for sure now. ;D

i'm in the process of making a guide to let anyone accurately
carve out a full size plug. it's basically a lot of diagrams and
templates with cross-sections and measurements so that you
can measure, cut, and connect the dots to get just about
exactly what you see in the 3D.
i realize there's some people who want to make their own kit
but can't invest months of carving or don't trust their artistic
side. by doing it exactly like something thats already done,
there isnt too much to go wrong with.

    Re:Eye candy (murci guide preview)

What type of rendering program are you using to do the final view?

How fast are the computers you use?

how long did the final render take?

    thanks
