Who has the best 355 Interior Package and what is a fair price to pay?

    Hey guys,

I'm so glad I found this site. It is a wealth of knowledge for us Kitcar junkies. I'm getting ready to finally start my 355 project, I have my donor car a 88 Fiero and I plan to do a 3.4 DOHC engine swap. I have been to Chatt, TN to see the AD kits and they are very nice and John is very helpful and will answer all your questions that you may have. I'm sold on his work but I'm not an expert so take it for what its worth.

I have an interior package but I'm not very happy with it. Not much detail in it and I would like for the interior to have more bells and whistles. Do you guys know of anyone who sells a nice Dash with door panels? I would like to see some photos and hear about your experiences with this part of the projects that you guys have worked with.

Any information concerning this matter is greatly appriciated.

    Thanks

I'm using DKOV's SI kit but I don't have any pictures or a link.

    355coupe:

    Welcome to the forum!

Like anything, you get what you pay for. Out of these three you'll find the interiorcoversions.htm the most expensive, but also most complete. DKOV's next, very nice kit but doesn't come with the finishing touches of the first. And the coolcustomcars.com on last as far as price (I don't know the quality or completeness of it).

DKOV is currently installing his interior kit into my car, I'm hoping to see it within the next three weeks.

Edit: Here is the link to DKOVs interior pics and the install guide at the bottom: http://www.gopc.com/F355/spiderint/

Re:Who has the best 355 Interior Package and what is a fair price to pay?

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the info on the interior kits. The photo from Ferrari Interior look the most complete. I have never seen the inside of a real 355 only photos and the photos from Ferrari Interiors looks very complete. Does anyone know how much they are asking for that kit. I saw the price for Coolcustom and that seems a bit much for what you get in my opionion but I'm cheap or should I say I don't have unlimited funds for my project so I have to make every penny count.

I'm going to be at the John Watson Swap Meet will anyone be there with the Ferrari Interiors that they have installed on there project, I would like to see one in person.

Guys thanks again for the warm greeting to the sight and I hope to be a regular here.

    Thanks again,
    355coupe

If you're talking about the Fiero Interiors (second link provided), I think he is asking around $3900* for the complete kit.

DKOV is asking around $3000* complete.

Too bad you can't combine the kits.. There are pieces of each that I like..

Re:Who has the best 355 Interior Package and what is a fair price to pay?

    Hey Sactodreamer,

Thanks for the info on the interiors. I do like the one by Fiero Interiors Conversion the best. It has a bit more detail in it but also a more expensive price. Do you know if they come with gauges or is that extra and upholdstry. My guess it is extra. The interior kit that I have is one like DKOV's not bad but I'm looking for a bit more but $3900 sounds a bit out of my budget. Maybe I will wait and see if the price comes down any.

    Thanks again for the help.

Re:Who has the best 355 Interior Package and what is a fair price to pay?

Here is my personal choice for an interior package that I am considering for my car to replace the interior I built from scratch in 1998: The price is in the neighborhood of $2,500 US. I will be selling my old 355 interior covered in black leather by Mr. Mike. It still looks very good and shows little or no wear. The interior pictured comes without leather as shown, shipped in gelcoat fiberglass. Photos of the new interior below.

Thanks for the post on this subject. I do believe the kit by Fiero Interior Conversions is the best looking interior kit out there. Has anyone you know done business with this company or any references would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I was quoted $600 for the console only from the Fiero Interiors. It was the one piece of the interior I thought really out did DKOV's kit. Only because it comes with the switches and DKOV's doesn't. I know the Fiero Interiors gauge cluster has the dummy lights, which is cool too, but I already have plans for that. They are both pricey but it comes down to, you get what you pay for.

I don't believe Fiero Interiors comes with the gauges and I know that DKOV's doesn't.
