Thread: Anyone have Euroworks Countach video?

    Anyone have Euroworks Countach video?

I'm not even sure I want to go with a Countach style, so I'm kinda hesitant to drop $130 on a video tape right now... Anyone have this tape?

I was suggesting the "S" video because that is the one I bought. The difference is you don't have to stretch the Fiero for "K" body (I was also going to buy the "K" body). After watching the video I saw enough to know I did not want to start the project "K" or "S". The tape I got showed the construction, maybe the new tape for $29.00 is different, I bought mine a year ago.
There are two websites for Euro Works:
    http://www.euroworksltd.com/default.htm
    http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/8482/index.html

They say: For just $29 you can purchase the Mirage S construction video. This video shows you how to complete your Countach from start to finish.

I don't think the extra $100.00 will help you make a decision as to whether you want to build a Lambo.

    They are both 1 tape - 2hour, $129.00 -vs- $29.00.

You could call them and ask if it is the same video as they sold one year ago.

Please don't flame me but, "I don't believe any two hour video will show you how to build any kit car."

Hope this will help you. ;D

Re: Anyone have Euroworks Countach video?

I talked to Euroworks a while back wanted to put tapes on credit card they said that they didn't do credit card business but the second tape was the $29 tape which I have already it shows some stuff but you couldn't build a car from it and its for a tube frame car but it starts with the car on the frame and goes from there. I think he said the other tape was for the fiero assembly. I'm getting stuff togeather to do a tube frame for a Countach with a SBC and a trans out back ,trying to make it as close to the real as possible. The Countach body I have came with out plans and the mould itwas pulled from was a right hand drive car its in a lot of pieces but looks right on . Gene

I know, I'm not after how to build as much as just some more shots of their particular car... stuff you can't see in the half-dozen pictures on their website. I s'pose I could accomplish the same thing touring the place in person, but then there's the whole plane fare costs...

I think the $29.00 video will answer most of your questions.

If I were to start a project now I would seriously look at the EVOLUZIONE II. *It uses a 1982 to 1992 Chevy Camaro or Pontiac Firebird and l@@ks nice.

Easier to do, big engine all GM. ;D

I was thinking of the same thing. Problem is if you get a $2500 car and put a $8000 body on it, plus extras, is it really worth what you have spent on it?

I don't think anyone that builds a kitcar expects to get out of it what he put into it. I built my car for me. ;D
Kit cars are for a different breed of people. People that want a car that can't just be bought at a dealership down the street. ;D
