Even without the partially completed 4.9... Any 88 frame alone is worth $400 in my opinion.

Especially the 'above' since there is nothing newer than an 88.. ;D

88s mount everything just like the earlier cars. You just get the better suspension and the larger gas tank. The only downside is that stock suspension parts are kinda rare and expensive.. But that is changing and becoming less of a problem.

Dad has written this guy and when asked about the age of the motor and how long it has been sitting and anything related to the engine we received no responce. Just a word of warning to everyone looking.

It would really depend on the condition of the engine to me. It don't look too good in the pictures. Of course, just because a guy didn't clean up an engine before putting it in don't mean it is a bad engine. I would wonder if the engine is fully installed of just in there on a test fit, etc... Personally, I would probably be willing to bid up to about $750 depending on answers to questions about the engine and install... It could be worth a whole lot more than that if the engine is better than the pictures show... Lots of variables.

One thing is for sure, a 4.9 is a great swap into a Fiero. I drove Ed Parks' car with a 4:10 4-speed in it. Talk about a neckbreaker!
