    79 BUICK MOTOR QUESTION

I found a motor from a 79 buick 3.8 L V6 - Edelbrock intake, cam, valve springs, valve covers, air cleaner, Holley 390 CFM carb, includes starter, flexplate, motor mounts & stand for $600

not sure of the original miles on it but was wondering if this would fit in a non-stretched fiero countach from exotic illusions...

    anybody?

    Eric

If the car is a Regal then you should be good.

I think the bolt pattern for the trans is different because it is tied to the longitudinal trans for the rear-wheel drive.

    Re: 79 BUICK MOTOR QUESTION

The engine is a good price but it will require an adapter kit like V8 Archie uses on the small block Chevy’s. The bolt pattern on the engine you're look at has a bell housing bolt pattern the same as a Chevy small block. The front wheel drive engines will have a BOP bell housing bolt pattern.

It can be converted into the Fiero for about 2,000 for the installation kit. If you choose that route, I have an intake with 6 Webbers on it that will fit that engine.

Email me and I will forward some photos of what I am talking about. The photo upload still is not working.
