    bmw v12 engine with japanese car's transmission?

    hi all,
    what do you guys think about japanese transmission fitted with bmw v12 engine?

    if it is good, what car's transmission should i use?

    audi 5000 tranny + adapter plate + bmw v12

    but the bmw v12 is not cheap to maintain at all, very expensive

    the engines have a few flaws and need replacement parts often, which cost upwards of $400. also any bmw v12 that smokes is most likely to not be repairable :

    thanks for the respond automx, what about fitting japanese car's engine like supra, 300zx, etc?

    would it be better than european/american car's engine such as rover v8, chevy, etc?
