take a look at my latest creation... a must-have for anyone with an old V8 small block that has seen better days...
and yes, it comes in "kit" form.

let me know what you think

Absolutely awesome!! I love it but Laura will hate you for showing that to me. She tries to make the house nice and I keep bringing in old drag slicks with a stop sign on top of it for an end table

What would the kit form consist of? Just the aluminum frame with provisions to hang the camshaft?
Please let me know what is included and the price. I may be getting one for Laura for CHristmas

It would fit my living room perfectly.

The BFG T/A coffee table is really comfortable to put your feet on. Someday I'll make a V8 dining room table.

    Bob - and others...

sorry for the delayed reply - I was in Las Vegas last week attending SEMA and I'm just
getting back to normal. I may have a solution for for you regarding these tables and
    maintaining the peace at home.

I can provide the aluminum "structure" of the table and mounting hardware for $295
That's $100 less than the cost listed on http://www.specificmotors.com/v8coff...tablehome.html
for the "assemble-it-yourself" kit.... so that addresses the kit availability / cost question...

Next comes the addressing the spouse / significant other issue... With the purchase of
one of these in kit form - I will give you a $30 coupon for that purchase of swimwear from
    http://www.splashattire.com

    sound good?

I'll run it by the ol' ball and chain ;D. Dave you have the best line of work....chassis related products and then selling bikinis to hot chicks in Cocoa beach. It must be tough measuring women twice to get a proper fitting suit

Great... who is Jeremy Clarkson? Where can I purchase one? I have never
seen one of these coffee tables with the exposed crank, pistons, etc...

I look forward to your reply.
