A Prancing Horse will ALWAYS back away from a RAGING BULL
$60000 makes him stupid. A 355 sold for $56000 not too long ago.
exactly lol
Very nice build.. But the price sheet is a bit heavy on a few items.. either he didn't know the difference or just didn't realize it was too much to be spending. either way nice vehicle.
Just smart enough to be very Dangerous
I predict in 2006 the price of the early F355's will fall below $50K on eBay for many cars......Recently I saw at least 2 early F355s sell for as low as $46 - 48K price range - that's right!! We're not talking about wrecked cars but running and driving examples...Of course they're not in prestine condition but none the less an indication of where the prices of the F355s are headed.Originally Posted by NeoFreakTarma

Anyone building a F355 replica for more than $20K nowadays is wasting their time and money....

it is real , but i do believe a real 355 SPIDER would hold more resale value ,this is just my opinion & we all know they sell for more money when new
In the USA if you pay a company / person to start a plug, then it,s your plug and work ,it is not theirs to sell or trade !!
That makes me feel great!! I have about $20K in my chassis.Originally Posted by goyal99
Check out this kitcar...it is a movie prop car from James Bond. From Ferrari with a VIN and interior but no drivetrain. Perfect kitcar platform with real ferrari registration...

Sorry...I didn't mean to put a damper on your project Stang - I'm sure you've been working long and hard on this build....It was just expressing my personal view on how much $$ I would be willing to spent on building a nice F355 replica....Originally Posted by superstang460
As for the eBay auction on the F355 chassis, I won't be suprised if someone overbids for this project (as it usually happens on eBay) and stuffs a BIG V8 in there....A much cheaper solution than trying to restore this car....
But then again people have been know to do stupid things and spend a fortune when it comes to restoration....
All the best on your project.
