    MR. Mikes Leather Seats

I decided to go with Mr. Mikes leather seats from my 355 kit and am very happy with them.

Sure they are not cheep, but the leather quality is great. I also got some seat heaters off of eBay. I just finished installing the seat heaters and leather covers tonight. I can say that hog rings suck, but to the job. The seat do not look 100% OEM, but are close enough. The best thing is to sit in them.

I like the way they look, but the feel is 100 times better. They feel like what leather seats should feel like. Not the OEM hard as plastic stuff I see at the local dealership. I understand that people here in America on average do not take care of their cars and the manufactures have to chemically bake the leather to last, BUT there are some of us who take care of our stuff.

Brastic: I sent you a pic of one of my seats after baking in the sun.. " I did this for a few hours at a time in a weeks period" Notice how much the leather will shrink to fit even tighter than it fits now.. night and day difference. And like you said the quality and over all feel is 100 times better.

I think the seats look great. I only use Mr Mikes seats. They look fantastic and feel great. Just remember to clean them and use Lexol on them. My first set are about a year old and they look as good as the day they were installed. The guy is top notch and a pleasure to deal with as well, kudo's to Mr. Mike and his operation. Take care. At first I was not going to spend the money for Mr. Mikes seats, then I sat in a pair that was ten years old. Even after ten years of use, they looked and felt great.

Mr. Mike's seats are the only way to go. He does PT Cruisers too. The seats in FunnyWheels are 6 years old and still look and fit great, same in my PT.
