    Murc Rebody

    Hi Again,

I've read through the Forums and read some were asking if anybody was offering a Murc rebody. Don't know much about the builder (I've visited his site over the last several years) but here's the link:

    Re: Murc Rebody

the body is a Triangle G (possibly a clone) and the company was called Paul's Exotics.

the build seems a bit sloppy if you ask me, look at how they store the bodies:

Look at the body in the back, the front is completely warped as it's just drooping down from lack of support since it's hanging by 3 spots..
anyone storing bodies like this would worry me, fiberglass might hold up ok but it's safe to assume that there will be stress cracks and that the gelcoat is pretty wasted. :-\

    Re: Murc Rebody

Long ago I was following Tim Wasmer's 355 Build (2001 / 02).* He had Paul's Exotic's doing the work.* From the pics, the car was beautiful - dark blue with light grey interior.* Tim had nothing but trouble with PE.* I know he later sold the car after we lost touch.* I haven't heard neither good nor bad comments about Pauls Exotics / World Class since.

I know there are several people interested in the replica - so I thought I would post the info.*

i've heard plenty of bad things and seen some poor workmanship on photos of their bodies, but i have also seen plenty that looked OK. it might be a question of who does to work, whether the customer is local or far away, etc.
