Seats and door skins can be had from Mr Mikes. He has some good pictures on his site for ideas. In fact my 512 is on his site.
    Take care. Bill

    Elpis (nice Greek name),

I don't know of any websites for step by step instructions...However, I have the book you listed above and a couple of other how-to custom interior books and I'm now learning how to do my own leather dash and seats...These books are VERY GOOD and provide detailed, ste-by-step photos on how to do your own unholstery work....I recommend them highly.

Mr. Mike's stuff is very good but he has a monopoly on recovering Fiero seats and his prices are going higher and higher each year...And if you need something custom made, then God help you ....So I'm learning how to do my own French stitching and maybe sometime soon there will be some competition for him.

Excellent point.. He is good at what he does but the price of materials hasn't gone up so there's no reason for the increase.
I learned how to sew a while back for the same reason.

"Foam Party" pdf on the JL Audio website is a good step by step manual on creating custom door panels: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=140

If you don't mind step by step pictures, with only a little meat, check out the step by step pictures on Alpine's site for their custom demo cars : http://iweb.alpine-usa.com/html/adc/...html?par=p14c5

This may be a little off-topic, but I started a car stereo company this year just because I couldn't find locally the equipment I was looking for myself at a price that didn't make my wallet scream. If anyone's looking for GOOD name brand audio or video at extremely reasonable prices, we're at http://www.hookupelectronics.com Bear with us on the inventory end as I'mattempting to keep overhead (and thus prices) as low as I can by doing the entire site myself, but I am continually looking for better deals so I can pass them on and am still listing products daily, but I did this for the customers, because, frankly, I am one-and someone should give us quality for our hard earned dollars!
