Hey guys... have you all read this??? thats Flipping Incredible!

Does anyone at all know how i can get in touch with this group or at least with the teacher in charge of this project? Im an Architect but i do alot of government work towards energy efficiency renovations and design, and i LOVE the idea of driving replica with this kind of engine in it!

if anyone has any details, even about the car itself, like... how the heck did they get it to run on soy? what kind of engine can do that? Im blown away! this group deserves all the respect in the world!

Any diesel engine can do it. Search google for biodiesel and you will find all the info you need. Your exhaust will then smell like french fries.

say what? are you referring to me as the 'jerk'?

My 80g compressor motor burnt out 3 months back so I was unable to spray gelcoat or chop but I purchased a 60g tank for fairly cheap that has been holding up... I've finished the following -

    deck lid: primed.
    quarter panels: primed.
    doors: rough.
    fenders: foam stage.
    rocker panels: rough.
    rear bumper: primed.
    front bumper: ....im getting there.

as for the body itself... I simply dont have the kind of money to purchase a $4000 high-duty(worth spending money on) 250a+ welder so I will need to rely on other sources for the chassis/frame. I might purchase an early model mr2 for the basis, only because this vehicle will be constructed for its appearance, so I can sell a few kits, if I even have enough money for that...

I just bought a 2007 stratus and I'm still in school. My girlfriend has been sucking me dry of spare cash lately and I'm getting kind of sick of that... Im not going to tolerate that much longer. lol. Anyway... This Gallardo project was for myself. It was not my intentions to create a widely available kit from the start however by the looks of things...I might as well do so, if everything works out well...
