Just finished building my Own Custom Kit Car

    Hi Guys,
Just finished building what I now call the Iguana Buggy ( www.iguanaoffroad.com)

Like a lot of Kit Cars it is bassed on the VW floor pan and goes from there. I built most of the body from clay before making a mould and going from there. Power pland is an EJ 22 Subaru Engine and VW Kombi transmission.

Anyway I hope you enjoy the pics

    Cheers,

    Brad

    Nice work Brad!

I can see the Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles driving this ;D The Camo paint finishes it off nicely. Do you have any pics of the chassis before the body went on? I've never really seen how the VW bugs are built.

Nice. And I really like the EJ22. Even though they are only 140hp/tq they are bullet proof. I have seen more 300K+ mile EJ22 than any other EJ series motors.

It uses a windscreen from a lat air cooled Beetle. We call them an L Bug or a 1303. With the pan we use the VW tunnel and pretty much rebuild everything to suit the Iguana Spec. Once done it is all powdercoated and then rust proofed.

Very very nice. You should add some side pods to cover the supports and finish the camo look
