    Aldino-I found it!

I finally found "the" Aldino for my collection. I am purchasing Don Kraus's 88 Fiero based Aldino. Don isn't sure why he is selling it but he is happy I am getting it to add to my collection. Here are a few pictures of the car. I should have it here in about 2 weeks or less. Take care. Bill

This has a serious drive train. The car is supposed to be the fastest 6 cylinder Fiero around. It ran a 11.323 quarter mile and does 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds. Here is a picture of the motor.

    Re: Aldino-I found it!

I placed a wanted ad here and at Pennocks for an Aldino, I got 3 responses, one from Rich the owner of the Aldino facility who is a really great guy, a member on here from Canada with an excellent replica and Don. I wanted Don's because I really don't have to do much more than perhaps change the carpet from grey to black and thats about it. As far as Fiero based replicas I have 7, then 1 Corvette based 365 Ferrari replica and a Mercedees SL500 kit based on a Chrylser LeBaron. None of the Fiero based replicas has the stock engine transmission combination they are all upgraded to V8's or 3800SCII's.
I am more than likely selling my 308 replica to a member on this forum if he likes it. Take care. Bill

    BILL!

YOU are the kitcar hero! Great job on a great find. It took me over 15 years to find the exact car I wanted! I'm very impressed with your collection and the ability to get what you want when you want it! Once you have the carpets changed, throw some pictures up on the site. Oh, if you could collage some pictures of your other cars too, that would be great. I'm sure they're posted throughout the site, somewhere, I just didn't want to miss seeing one. Congrats again!

Now I really have to get down and see Bills Collection. I was following Bills treads on the Aldino and that did look like a great one to have.
