Update on my kit progress (big picture inside!)

Well, after about seven months of waiting I decided Tony would never show up with my windshield body panel so I picked up one at the local junk yard - $40!!! Kinda pissed me off it was so expensive, but what can you do.

As you may have noticed the roof is fully off too.

Bo - I'm thinking of making a foldable convertable top which either goes behind the seats or in the trunk, so no additional structural changes will be necessary.

All I can say is WOW!!! That is some SERIOUS progress!!!

Call me stupid but... I don't understand what you meant by waiting for the windsheild body panel?

Do you have to use a Fiero surround? Was there/Is there not a KIT surround?

When I purchased my first (and still to be delivered ) IFG kit several years ago, it came with the Windshield body panel... How interesting.

    Anyway, things are looking good!

By the way, are the doors just hanging there? Looks like you have yet to attach them.

DKOV - A windshield body panel did not come with the kit. Tony told me he would give me on off of one of his fiero's, but never delievered (He "threw out" all the body panels from my car before I picked it up...).

None of the body panels are bolted down, they are all just sitting on the car.

    Giveitup2me - If I told you what I was doing it wouldn't be a secret anymore !

I know what your project is. ;D

I might do something similar, I hate that little door.. I'm not gonna put a sub there though.. just increase the elbow room a bit more.

HINT: I plan on doing a "glove compartment/sub box" encloser, lockable by key... The one thing that bothers me about my current interior is that there is no where I can safely keep something, i.e. my CDs.
