I always thought this one was pretty cool. I still prefer the Tri Magnum

Re: Build Site for a Vortex

It looks like a fun, interesting, first build that may not break the bank.
With that said, it also looks dated.

It may just be me though, I never liked the look of the angualr Lambos, and the rear taper is... off?

I'm a little apprehensive about it being made of wood, but with some work (a tube frame) and body restyle it my be a fun little project.
It reminds me of a project my grandfather and I did when I was younger, it was a wood electric buggy made from plans in a popular mechanic (or similar book, I can't remember) complimation printed in the '70's. If I see it the next time I'm at their place I'll try to make scans of the pages. It also had a full sized kit-car in it, a three wheeled gass engine car with an electric motor for reverse.
I come to you with only &quot;KARATE&quot; - empty hands. I have no weapons, but should I be forced to defend myself, my principles or my honor; should it be a matter of life or death, of right or wrong; then here are my weapons - &quot;KARATE&quot; - my empty hands.<br />- Ed Parker, 1957

I like the Vortex, But I have always been a fan of the tri magnum as well. I have the plans to build it around here somewhere. One of these days I will get to it

It would be cool to copy the T-Rex.. Add a windshield and ultralight butterfly doors to make a more useable trike..
