    TRIANGLE G ; G-24 kit

How is this kit, is it believable? I cannot tell by the pics, but allegedly it was at the KBF in 2003.

    Thanks guys.

instead of posting a new thread about a widely dicussed topic... look around.

"TG kit" you will see that a lot. its very innacurate.

Hmm i guess i will into this 1 and say.I think it is a very good looking kit.a few things i would change but that is just me..

As for being inacurate.beauty is in the eye of the beholder..If u build this kit,i would say 9 out of 10 people would not know if it is real or fake..Yes there r some HARDCORE NUTZ that would know but come on the common joe blow wont have a clue and say WOW SWEET RIDE

take a look at this site:

    http://www.kitcar.com/triangle/

Somewhere on this forum, someone took the time to note each difference between the real car and the TG kit. In my opinion, there are three significant differences, and a lot of subtle changes that most people wouldn't notice. 1) The slope of the roofline differs as it goes toward the rear. 2) The real car is much wider than the kit. 3) the Triangle G rocker panels angle upward as they go back. Where the real car is 5.5 inches off the ground all the way back, the triangle G rocker is lower at the front wheel, and higher in the back, as if the rear was raised up in the rear.

Personally, I think the car looks great from the images I've seen (never seen the car in person). It is not an exact replica, but I think it's a car that you'd be proud to own. Unless you were parked next to a real Murc, I don't think most people would know the difference.

this car was at the Knott's 2006 show as far as I know. It has been listed on Ebay several times, but hasn't sold for whatever reason...

As a stand alone car, it doesn't look to bad. If I were to build this car, I would not put on the logos. The quality of the fiberglass is good. My biggest problem with the cars at the KBF show is the poor build. It looks like they rushed all of the builds I have seen. I am sure that if someone like Wild Rides built one of these, it would look really good.

PS. I would catorigize this car as an "inspired by" and not a replica.

"inspired by" is a perfect description for this car...

1- Nice to see Steve's finally got a website!
2- Beautiful paint job on that Murci...an acquired taste on the colour, but the paint job takes the cake..
3- Even though that blonde bombshell looks she's just out of the 80's or early 90's bikini competition, i'll still take her...i'll buy the car just because she comes with it (if she comes with it... :P )

I would take a Diablo and mount the Mirc front end on it. And maybe the back tale lights.
