    Weekend visit

So last weekend I went to visit the wifes "rich" uncle. I had never met him but always heard stories about him. Anyways to make a long story short (my wife forgot to mention :) he has a small collection of supercars (15 or so). He keeps all the cars in a show room (old train station) and uses it for a tax write off. Anyway here are some of the pics. Sorry these ones are from my phone. I will post the ones from my camera when I get a chance to upload them.

    959 my fav

Jag (Ashley I asked if you could pull a mold off this one. Not sure if you have time now or if there would be enough interest to make it worth your while)

video of him trying to start the Jag (not sure if it will work)

    rest of his cars

I think I need a tax write off too!

The guy must like Countach's since there are at least three in the images. The Bugatti and Miura are pretty cool to see. Is that Jag an XJ220? Isn't that a pretty limited production, ultra rare car?

    Thanks for sharing the images!

That Jaguar is by far the sexiest car they ever produced! Pity it was also the worst handling car they ever made, so bad indeed that it embarassed Jaguar from running the car a full season before retiring it to fade into obscurity....IIRC my TOP GEAR episode.

    I do recall correctly:

Make a replica that handles and I'd wager my mommy-n-daddy marbles on success!

And aesthetically speaking, the XJR15 is more supple than the XJ220 and looks as modern today as it did when it was created at the end of the 1980s start of the 1990s. I must admit that I am surprised that people haven't already made a replicar of the XJR15. Its still so stunning.

I love them all - the 959, the Muira, the Maserati, the Daytona, the Jags, and the few I don't recognize. He's definately got good taste. So are you guys in his will? Where are they? In Japan?

Just watched the video of him trying to start the Jag. He needs to put some Stabile in the gas tank of all those cars! :-[
