I got the axle seal in!!!

Well, after many, many hours of work and two broken seals I THINK I got the axle seal properly... Took a piece of PVC pipe and had it cut at home depot perfectly straight(very important). Removed the whole rear spring/shock assembly. Put the pipe over it and using a sledge hammer wacked it until it was in nice and tight. I also put the rebuilt axle in. Now I need to just reconnect the control arm to the spring/shock assembly as well as replace the toe link rod.

I think I may have used a end connector rather than the pipe
since..indeed it has to be straight.
