Epoxy painted my calipers

Because I have 2 different brake calipers front and rear, [Cadillac on rear, Grand am on front] I wanted to make them look alike. I decided to paint them with Dupont Imron, in a Ferrari red.
I'm thinking the Testarossa had red calipers if I'm not mistaken, so this should add to the effect. The other benefit is that brake fluid won't react with this paint.
And the joke is,
when he awoke his,
body was covered in Coke fizz !

Maybe I'll do that too while my calipers are off (They're going to stay off as long as I can't replace this rusted phreakin rear drivers side brake line!). Is that paint only available at autoparts stores, or would I be able to find it cheaper at a paint store?

You can use any high temp engine paint from any auto parts stores.
Clean the calipers up first.
Then you can use high temp primmer or not.
Three coats of high temp paint.
One coat every 15 min. or follow directions on can.
If you want to (but not needed) you can finish it by using high temp clear gloss.

Here is a pic that I did a terrible job of over spraying onto the pads themselves, I was so anxious.

Anyone else painted brake calipers. I want to go with red or yellow. I checked the local discount auto parts, no luck. Any leads for paint suppliers for brake parts?

Thanks for the information. They look like good leads. I will do some leg work today to locate the materials needed for the job.
