    WANTED : BENTLEY CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR REPLICAS

    HEY GUYZZ,

    I HAVE BEEN BROWSING THE FORUM SITES FOR THE PAST MONTH NOW.....
    HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO COME UP BY SOME1 WHO BUILDS GENUINE BENTLEY CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR REPLICAS ON EITHER THE AUDI A8 OR THE VW PHAETON........ i want to build a few !!!

    I DONT WANT TO BUILD THEM ON RUBBISH LINCOLN TOWNCARS AND ANCIENT BMW 7 SERIES......

    I AM GETTING USED 04 PHAETONS AND A8L'S FOR UNDER 20K........NEW SHAPE !!!

    THE W12 MODELS OF BOTH THESE CARS EVEN SHARE THE BENTLEY ENGINES SAVE THE TURBO-CHARGERS ...

    ANY IDEAS GUYS ???

    How are you getting the A8's for under 20K in good condition? Theft recovery?

    That would be the best option. The Flying Spur is basically a reworked Phaeton. All the porportions are the same. New Nose, New Front = Bemtley Style and Respect.

    You can get A8 W12s for under 20k?? Where do you get them from please? Stock they look great already! Transporter 2 baby!

    Close enough is good enough, Still wonder if its the same shasis though, that would be bloody interesting, after all Aston Martin were using Jaguar Chassis for years.

    The outgoing Jaguar XJ8 and XJR which were just replaced last year were based on the XJS chassis(1975) Which itself was a shortened down XJ6 Chassis, The Aston Martin DB7 used the same old cobbled up chassis as the XJ8/XJR.

    me mum has a XJ8, 2001, or whatever the last year was that Jaguar owned it and not Ford. After that take over Ford botched up that cars pretty bad.

    i think you will find ford took ownership in late 93/early 94
